SBR 35: TURNER’S TOP TRADE MARKETING TIPS AT BREAD & JAM

If you’re a scaling brand who has managed to secure a listing in one of the major retailers you can sit back, get your feet up and relax. You’ve made it.

Wrong.

I’m afraid your work has only just started. If you’re lucky you have 13 weeks to make your listing stick. I had one retailer claim a piece of NPD wasn’t working after 2 weeks once. They hadn’t even delivered the distribution that they’d promised.

I’ll be talking through my top trade marketing tips and tricks at Bread & Jam at 14:30 on 16 July and answering any audience questions. The tips are aimed at scaling brands without mountains of budget, but will be based on sound principles that I have refined over the years working in businesses like Heineken, Arla Foods & Weetabix.
